Calm, restorative spaces for modern living
Orange Innovation Inc brings the same care and craftsmanship we apply to ADUs and custom homes into a more intimate service: Zen Room Creation. We design and build dedicated spaces for meditation, healing, yoga and quiet reflection that help you slow down, reset and feel more grounded at home.
These projects are created in close collaboration with holistic wellness consultant, yoga teacher and space designer Nancy Saltzman. With more than two decades of experience designing Zen rooms, gardens and restorative environments, Nancy adds a deep understanding of nervous system regulation, energy awareness and daily rituals to our design build expertise.
Whether you are converting a spare room, a corner of your home or a remodeled area, we shape the space around how you want to feel, not only how it will look.
What Is a Zen Room?
A Zen room is a dedicated sanctuary within your home that supports stillness, reflection and mental clarity. It can be a meditation room, a yoga or movement studio, a healing or therapy space, or simply a quiet retreat where you can step away from screens and noise.
Our team and Nancy begin with a conversation about how you plan to use the space and what you need it to do for your body and mind. We study natural light, acoustics, colors and materials, then develop a layout that feels open, calm and easy to maintain. Every detail is chosen to support a slower pace and deeper presence.
- Tailored to your daily rituals and practice

Our experience in local codes and residential remodeling in Los Angeles means we can move projects forward smoothly, making sure designs are sound and aligned with safety and building requirements.

FAQs - Zen Room Questions
Got more questions? We are here to help.
We start with a conversation about how you want the space to feel and how you plan to use it. Then we create a concept that covers layout, natural light, colors, and materials, followed by a detailed plan and budget. Once approved, our team manages any needed construction, finishing, and styling so the room is ready for use.
Yes. We often collaborate with wellness practitioners and designers to make sure the room supports your specific practices and needs. We coordinate layout, lighting, furnishings, and any special requirements so everyone is working toward the same vision.
We balance form and function from the beginning. That means planning storage, lighting levels, and circulation while keeping the design simple, uncluttered, and soft. Every choice, from flooring to paint to furniture, is made to reduce visual noise and support quiet routines.
Cost and schedule depend on the size of the space, the amount of construction or remodeling required, and the level of finishes and custom elements you choose. Electrical changes, built-in storage, and specialty lighting can also affect pricing and timing. During the planning phase we provide a clear estimate and schedule so you know what to expect.
